 아이돌그룹 코르티스(CORTIS)가 오롯이 스스로에게 집중한 인물 사진을 세 번째 앨범 포토로 공개했다.
 앞선 두 버전에 이어 ‘날 것’의 분위기가 강하게 배어나는, 새로운 질감의 비주얼이다.
 코르티스(마틴, 제임스, 주훈, 성현, 건호)는 4월 8일 오후 9시 팀 SNS에 미니 2집 ‘GREENGREEN’의 앨범 포토 ‘STUDIO’(스튜디오) 버전을 공개했다.

 데뷔 전 일상과 음반 작업의 추억을 담은 ‘BRIDGE’(다리), ‘STREET’(거리)에 이어, 이번에는 데뷔 후 가장 많은 시간을 보낸 하이브 용산 사옥을 촬영지로 정했다. 사진은 사옥 내 스튜디오에서 촬영됐다.
 장소는 달라졌지만 이번 앨범 포토 역시 있는 그대로의 코르티스를 담았다.
 평소 멤버들의 사복 차림에서 영감을 받은 자연스러운 스타일링이 시선을 끈다.

 무대 위 화려한 K팝 아티스트가 아닌, 때론 장난기 넘치고 때론 고뇌에 휩싸이는 청춘을 투영했다.
 깔끔한 하얀 배경 앞에서 다섯 멤버가 가진 고유한 매력을 가장 진솔하고 담백하게 표현했다.
 피사체는 코르티스뿐이고 조명 역시 이들에게 집중된다.

 특히 빛과 그림자의 극단적 대비, 의도적으로 초점을 정돈하지 않은 거친 촬영 기법이 코르티스의 개성과 만나 강렬한 에너지를 분출한다.
 단체 사진 속 저마다 다른 포즈도 다섯 멤버의 꾸밈없는 매력을 배가한다.
 모델처럼 한쪽 팔꿈치를 들어올려 과감하게 취한 포즈, 멍하게 허공을 응시하거나 새침하게 지은 표정 등 다양한 개성이 한 프레임에 담겼다.

 코르티스는 새로운 버전의 앨범 포토가 공개될 때마다 지도 서비스 구글맵의 주요 촬영 장소 좌표에 멤버 한 명씩 리뷰 형태로 글을 남기고 있다.
 8일 주훈은 하이브 용산 사옥 리뷰에 “사진을 찍은 흰색 호리존 스튜디오는 회사 안에서 무언가 촬영해야 할 때 자주 가는 곳입니다. 데뷔 앨범 안무 연습 영상도 여기서 찍었습니다. 연습실이 아닌 곳에서 안무를 춰본 것은 그때가 처음이었습니다”라고 전했다.
 이어 “이번 앨범 포토는 스튜디오의 미니멀한 느낌을 살려 내추럴하게 찍었는데 멤버들도 다들 만족하는 것 같습니다”라고 썼다.

 코르티스는 지난 6일부터 매일 다른 버전의 앨범 포토를 순차 공개하고 있다. 9~10일에도 새로운 사진을 선보인다.
 멤버 전원이 비주얼을 비롯해 음악, 안무, 영상 작업에 참여한 미니 2집 ‘GREENGREEN’은 오는 5월 4일 정식 발매된다.

 코르티스는 이에 앞서 4월 20일 타이틀곡 ‘REDRED’ 음원과 뮤직비디오를 먼저 공개하고 본격적인 활동에 나설 예정이다.
