 배우 아이유와 이연이 제주 여행부터 서로를 향한 미담까지 공개했다.
 27일 유튜브 채널 '코스모폴리탄 코리아'에는 '21세기 대군부인 | 아이유 vs 이연 애교 배틀 하다?'라는 제목의 영상이 게재됐다. 영상에는 드라마 '21세기 대군부인'에 출연 중인 아이유와 이연이 함께 등장해 촬영 비하인드와 개인적인 일상을 솔직하게 털어놓는 모습이 담겼다.
 이날 아이유와 이연은 촬영장 밖에서도 이어진 케미를 자랑했다. 두 사람은 배우 유수빈과 함께 "제주도 1박 2일 여행을 다녀왔다"고 밝혔다.

 아이유는 "짧게 다녀왔는데 흑돼지, 한치국수 등 맛있는 것도 많이 먹고 오름도 올랐다"면서 "'가볍게 산책하자'고 해서 갔는데 속았다. 거의 세 시간 정도 걸었다"고 토로했다. 이에 이연은 "아니다. 1시간 반 정도"라고 정정했고, 아이유는 "아니야, 제발 그렇게..  2시간 반 정도"라고 주장해 폭소를 유발했다.
 두 사람은 서로에게 감동받았던 순간을 공개하며 훈훈함을 더했다. 이연은 "아이유 집에서 함께 잤을 때, (저녁형 인간이라) 본인이 일어날 시간이 아닌데도 먼저 일어나 과일과 고구마를 준비해줬다"며 "사부작사부작 준비해놓고 '먹어'라고 하고 다시 자러 들어갔다. 그게 너무 감동이었다"고 미담을 전했다.

 이에 아이유 역시 "제가 뭘 차려주면 항상 빛의 속도로 설거지를 다 해놓는다. 손님인데도 전혀 안 해도 될 일을 먼저 해주는 친구"라고 칭찬했다. 이어 "잠옷이나 수건도 호텔처럼 각 잡아서 정리해놓고 간다. 그런 모습에서 어떤 삶을 살아온 사람인지 느껴져서 더 좋아졌다"고 애정을 드러냈다.
 이연은 영상 편지를 통해 "(유)수빈 오빠 부럽지? 우리 둘은 여기서 이렇게 즐겁게 촬영 중이다. 우리 둘이 재밌게 놀 때마다 많이 질투했는데, 오늘 이렇게 재밌어 버렸다. 보고 싶다. 수빈 오빠. 사랑하진 않고 좋아한다"고 너스레를 떨었다.
 한편, 아이유는 최근 이연, 유수빈과 함께 MBC '나 혼자 산다'에 출연해 "외조부 장례식장에 와줘서 고맙다. 내 친구 중에 유일하게 둘이 와줬다. 너희가 한걸음에 와줘서 감동받았다"며 고마움을 전한 바 있다.
