[IT뉴스]마리오부터 피크민까지! 닌텐도 팝업 서울이 잠실 롯데월드몰에 떴다

 '슈퍼마리오' 시리즈를 비롯해 '동물의 숲', '젤다의 전설', '스플래툰', '피크민' 등 닌텐도의 대표 IP를 테마로 한 공식 굿즈를 한자리에서 만날 수 있는 'Nintendo POP-UP STORE in SEOUL(닌텐도 팝업 스토어 인 서울)'이 서울 잠실 롯데월드몰에 문을 열었다.
 이번 팝업 스토어는 11월 19일부터 2026년 1월 11일까지 진행되는 롯데와 슈퍼마리오의 컬래버레이션 'LOTTE | SUPER MARIO JOYFUL HOLIDAY in LOTTE WORLD MALL'의 일환으로 마련된 행사다.

 팝업 스토어에는 사전 예약과 현장 예약을 통해 입장할 수 있으며, 일본 닌텐도 직영 오피셜 스토어인 닌텐도 도쿄, 오사카, 교토에서만 판매되던 상품을 중심으로 다양한 라인업이 준비됐다.
 잠실 롯데월드몰 1층에 마련된 현장을 직접 방문해보니, Nintendo Switch 2 본체와 주요 소프트웨어가 판매 중이었다. 현장에서 본체 혹은 소프트웨어를 구매하면 홀리데이 패키지 포장과 리플렉터 키링을 구매 특전으로 증정한다.

 팝업 스토어 곳곳에서 슈퍼마리오, 동물의 숲, 젤다의 전설, 스플래툰, 피크민 시리즈를 활용한 인형, 문구류, 티셔츠, 컵, 볼펜, 가방, 키링 등 다양한 장르의 굿즈를 만나볼 수 있다. 닌텐도의 세계관을 그대로 옮겨온 듯한 규모와 구성을 보여주고 있다.
 특히 이번 팝업 스토어에는 'Nintendo POP-UP STORE in SEOUL' 로고가 포함된 오리지널 토트백이 한정 상품으로 준비되어 색다른 즐거움을 더했다.

 상품 구매는 상품당 2개 제한, 그리고 당일 구매 10만 원 이상 시 한정 핀배지 증정 등 현장 특전도 제공된다. 또한 닌텐도 어카운트 QR 체크인을 통해 18종 스티커 중 1종을 랜덤으로 획득할 수 있는 이벤트도 마련됐다.
 팝업 스토어 외에도 이번 컬래버레이션을 통해 지하 1층에는 '슈퍼 마리오브라더스'의 토관을 모티브로 한 포토존과 함께 'Nintendo Switch 2 체험존'이 운영 중이었다. 내년 1월 11일까지 '슈퍼 마리오 갤럭시 + 슈퍼 마리오 갤럭시 2', '마리오 카트 월드', '슈퍼 마리오 파티 잼버리 + Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + 잼버리 TV', '동키콩 바난자' 등의 게임을 체험할 수 있다. 게임 체험 참여자에게는 스티커 4종 중 1종을 랜덤 증정한다.

 이뿐만이 아니다. 지하 1층 체험 및 판매존에는 스마트폰용 앱 'Pikmin Bloom(피크민 블룸)'의 스페셜 스폿이 운영되며, 다가오는 11월 22일, 23일에는 잠실 롯데시네마 월드타워점 씨네파크 7층에서 '마리오 카트 월드'로 진행되는 24인 레이스 '마리오 카트 월드 2025 가을 이벤트 매치'도 열린다.
 이 외에도 유니클로 잠실점 한정 협업과 롯데리아 잠실 롯데월드몰 지하 1층 매장이 홀리데이 테마로 매장을 장식하는 것은 물론, 추후 롯데리아 전국 점포에서 크리스마스 시즌에 맞춰 컬래버레이션 한정 굿즈를 발매할 예정이다.
