 엔씨소프트가 '아이온2' 밸런스 프로세스를 전면 개편한다. 전담 TF를 구성해 전 클래스를 재조정할 방침이다. 
 엔씨소프트는 31일 오후 7시 30분 아이온2 라이브 방송을 진행했다. 김남준 아이온2 개발PD와 소인섭 아이온2 사업실장이 지난주 업데이트 이슈 대응과 시즌3 업데이트 내용을 공유했다.
 먼저 지난주 클래스 밸런스 이슈에 대해 사과하며 대응 방안을 밝혔다. 밸런스 전담 TF를 신규 구성해 여러 팀이 합동으로 논의하고 충분히 테스트한 뒤 적용하는 프로세스로 전환한다. 
 이에 따라 치유성 개편이 1차로 진행된다. 전반적인 화력이 상향되며, 자기 부활 스킬의 재시전 시간이 3분으로 조정됐다. 이후 2~3차에 걸쳐 설치형 스킬의 추적형 전환 등 추가 개편이 예정돼 있다.
 전투력 측정기가 4월 1일 업데이트로 도입된다. 스킬별 딜 지분과 정보를 상세하게 확인할 수 있으며, 단축키로 자유롭게 켜고 끌 수 있다. 레기온 UI도 개선돼 히스토리 기록 열람이 가능해진다.
 시즌3가 4월 8일 시작된다. 신규 원정 '환영의 회랑'과 '푸른 숨의 섬', 신규 초월 '붉은 연심의 거울', 신규 성역 '무스펠의 성배'가 2주 간격으로 순차 추가된다. 악몽에도 신규 보스가 등장하며 즉시 완료 기능이 도입된다.
 또한 어비스 중층이 삭제되고 지상 어비스에 균열 지대가 추가된다. 토벌전도 삭제되며 보상은 싱글 콘텐츠로 이전된다. 시즌3의 핵심 방향은 숙제 피로도 완화로, 티켓 시스템의 서버 단위 전환 등 대폭 개편이 예고됐다.
 유일 장비에서 영웅 장비로의 계승이 시즌3에 도입된다. 하위 제작 장비를 상위로 업그레이드하는 계승 제작도 추가되며, 실패 없이 재료 투입으로 진행된다. 신규 데바니온 보드 '유스티엘'은 모든 던전에서 획득 가능하도록 변경된다.
 4월 11일 서울에서 첫 유저 간담회가 개최된다. 개발진과 유저가 직접 만나 자유롭게 의견을 나누는 자리로, 200명 규모로 진행된다. 강원도와 제주도에서도 별도로 간담회를 진행할 예정이며, 세부 일정은 추후 안내된다.

 - 상향 평준화 기조는 유지하되, 과도하게 튀는 부분은 하향 조정도 할 예정이다.
 
 
 - 어비스 핫스팟은 유지하되, 부작용이 지속되면 삭제도 고민해 보겠다.
 
 
 - 서버 매칭은 시즌3 시작과 함께 변경된다.
 
 
 - 시즌1 던전 일부 보상이 각인 키나로 전환될 것 같다.
