 "날씨가 더워졌지만 한국 엔드필드 관리자들의 열정은 막을 수 없지"
 그리프라인이 24일 '명일방주 엔드필드'와 국내 대표 편의점 브랜드 'GS25'의 컬래버레이션을 기념해 마포구 소재 마포인트 오프라인 팝업 이벤트 '엔드필드 공업의 GS25 개척 작전'을 진행했다.
 행사장은 3, 4층으로 구성되어 있다. 3층은 이벤트 공간으로 지난 13일 사전 예약에서 입장권을 획득한 방문객들만 입장 가능하다. 4층은 휴게 공간으로 사전 예약 없이 이용할 수 있다.
 마포인트에 도착하면 옥상에 배치된 거대 드래곤버블 2개를 볼 수 있다. 입구는 SD 디자인의 GS25 컬래버 특별 일러스트로 장식됐는데 누가 봐도 엔드필드 행사가 열린다는 것을 한 눈에 알 수 있다. 
 다리에는 "성실한  관리자라면 자나깨나 배터리 방전 조심", "버든비스트를 쓰다듬으면 어떤 일이 생길까?" 등의 문구가 적혀 있어 건너는 동안 엔드필드 플레이를 떠올리기도 했다.
 기자는 4시 타임에 방문했다. 2시 53분 현장에 도착했는데 해당 타임을 예약한 유저들이 이미 대기열을 형성하고 있었다. 외국인 방문객들도 쉽게 찾아볼 수 있었다. 기자가 방문했을 땐 중국, 일본, 대만 관리자들이 방문했다.
 신림동에서 온 방문객은 "엔드필드는 오픈부터 즐겼다. 서브컬처 게임은 다양하게 하는데 엔드필드는 퀄리티에 반했다. 시뮬레이션도 원래 좋아해서 재밌께 즐기고 있다. 가장 좋아하는 캐릭터는 로시다. 사전 예약이 10분 만에 끝났다고 들었는데 성공해서 다행이다. 재밌게 즐기고 가겠다"고 전했다.
 이벤트 존은 'ALL 뽑아주실 거죠?', '80m 너에게 닿기를', '공손실은 못 참지', '환경 관측!'으로 구성됐다. ALL 뽑아주실 거죠?에서는 1이 나오니까 은근슬쩍 ALL로 맞춰주는 센스도 인상적이었다. 관리자와 GS25 컬래버 캐릭터인 질베르타, 펠리카, 장방이, 라스트 라이트, 레바테인 코스어들도 포토존에서 방문객들을 맞이했다.
 이벤트에 참여하면 무릉 관리권을 받을 수 있다. 총 3장을 획득한 방문객에게는 관리자증, 클리어파일, 포토카드가 제공된다. 모든 이벤트를 마치면 메시지월이 기다리고 있다. 엔드필드를 향한 응원, 픽뚫 방지 기원 등 다양한 목소리를 확인할 수 있었다.
 리프레쉬 존에서는 GS25 컬래버 관련 모든 굿즈를 볼 수 있었다. 경품으로 얻는 주화 크기가 의외로 커서 처음에는 욕심 없었는데 막상 보니 꼭 가지고 싶었다. 컬래버 일러스트가 굉장히 잘 나와서 그런가 방문객들에게 굿즈 퀄리티를 질문했을 때 전체적으로 만족스럽다는 답변을 받았다. 다만 GS25 측의 요청으로 일부 캐릭터 일러스트가 변동된 것에 대해서는 아쉬움을 표했다.
 다른 타임에 현장을 방문했던 엔드필드 공식 콘텐츠 크리에이터 시롤은 "밖에 잘 안 나오는데 엔드필드는 저에게 소중한 게임이니까 방문했다. 다양한 콘텐츠가 준비되어 있어서 재밌었다. 그리고 펠리카 인형탈 너무 귀여웠다. 코스프레를 하신 분들도 너무 예쁘고 게임이랑 완전 똑같아서 신기했다. 4층은 휴식하기에는 좋았지만 날씨가 너무 더웠다. 오늘 GS25에 레바테인 해물칩이랑 질베르타 초콜릿 나왔더라. 열심히 먹어서 컬렉션 꼭 완성하겠다"는 소감을 남겼다.
